The Flint Bud Light United States Flag Football Team won three consecutive United States Flag Football National Championships. In 1988 Bud Light capped an undefeated season and won the National Flag Football Championship in Mercer County Park, NJ. Bud Light’s first National Championship game was played at Atwood Stadium in Flint, December 1987. There are five ex-NFL players who participated in the tournament held in Mercer County Park.  Gary Lee won the Most Valuable Player as quarterback leading Flint to the National Championship with a 29-7 victory over Strohs of Allen Town, Pennsylvania.
